In the "dedicated_server_options" section of the mod's config, there's an "alternative_cost_display_enabled" setting. This is supposed to insert the disenchantment cost into the tooltip of the result item, so that it is visible to vanilla clients. However, this feature has been broken since at least Minecraft 1.21, or maybe even longer. It would be great to reimplement this at some point in the latest version.
